Libra Blue Stripe
The new Libra Blue Stripe remote head is now available from Active Camera Systems. The new Libra has been completely updated with larger motors for Pan & Tilt. It is now fully repeatable with the ability to store 60 moves and has axis information on all three axis. Please call or e-mail us for availability.
Some of our credits include “The Company” Directed by Mikael Salomon. The Libra was on a camera car,helicopter,Techno Crane,Giraffe Crane, Landing Craft and Spydercam. The Libra worked great in all the different scenarios of this demanding shoot.
Active Camera Systems supplied 2 Libra’s for “Fools Gold” in the Bahamas. Don Burgess was the DP and the films cast included Matthew McConaughey,Kate Hudson and Donald Sutherland. Commercials credits include Go Films Shooting Tiger Woods for an Accenture Commercials putting the Libra on the Super Techno 50. DP Bojan Bazelli shot the Accenture spots and also utilized the Libra Blue Stripe for his latest feature film “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”
We also have customized the Libra Blue Stripe to accept some of the new 3D camera systems being used today. These cameras require a wide base to handle the parallel lens setup. Call for more info on your next 3D project.
The Libra Blue Stripe also worked on the Dream Works feature “Tropic Thunder” shot by John Toll. We had the Libra working in some very tough conditions in Kauai for over 3 Months.
